MISE-EN-SCENE




MISE-EN-SCENE (pronounce mija-seen) is a French term means to prepare the environment of Restaurants or serving outlets before service in order to make it pleasant, safe, hygienic and comfortable. Restaurants must be made presentable enough to receive the guests.
The team leader should ensure the following misa-en-scene:

  • Wall light & table light bulb should be functional
  • All chairs and tables should be serviceable. 
  • Carpets should well brushed or hovered. 
  • Menu  card should be attractive and presentable
  • Tent carts or other sales should be presentable 
  • Always Exchange dirty linen for fresh linen.
  • Mats and table cloths should be laid on the tables
  • Replace wilted flower with fresh flowers.
